1. Not worth paying the developers to remove the annoying ads.Intrusive and Loud Ads, Notifications I was hoping to use this app to track the events in Ukraine, but I really can't get off rhe ground too far without a long, intrusive, and loud video ad popping up that isn't overridable, even after the countdown to skip it has run out.
2. The app was a great idea! The recent update is really buggy, and whenever you are scrolling through the feed again and you want to view an article individually it brings you over to the map and when you go back it makes you lose where you were in the feed, pluss the ads are more annoying since they just pop up in the middle of your feed when you are reading and you have to scroll down to the post you were at.
3. Granted they are probably getting hammered but if you have time to add paywalls and ads to our have time to fix bugs.....Really great app which gives you live events that are taking place around the globe.
4. These developers are deceptive and unethical.I want to support this app but due to the recent events they definitely didn't scale their backend as fast as they added advertising and paywalls.
5. Save yourself some time just go to the site on your phone's browser or laptop. When an ad appears it covers the screen in a way that doesn't allow the ad to ever be dismissed.
6. No way in hell im buying the "remove ads" until they fix all the bugs and optimise everything they just changed. The idea is great.
7. It constantly loses connectivity to the internet and seems to forget that I paid the extra $2 a month to remove ads.
8. No way to filter markers on the map by the time for instant events.
9. I've seen the offline frown screen enough to know the paid version won't come without more hassle.
10. I wish though, that when multiple things happen at the same place on the map, it becomes like a cluster of points, which becomes harder to click upon.
11. Besides being full screen intrusive, they advertise war games.
