1. Definitely worth a download! (To earn gems, tap the button at the very top right hand side.)Very creative spin on a simple task list! Some might argue that the mechanics of the app overcomplicate a to-do list, but I think that's entirely the point! Simple to-do lists are boring, I would much rather complete "quests" instead of chores or errands.
2. Update: the game portion only goes up to level 10, and you run out of things to buy with points by level 8, but by then, you generate a graph indicating your character's stats that actually tells you a lot about the kinds of tasks you've completed since you started and about your values & habits.
3. There's a lot of good features like repeatable tasks, completed tasks that can be readded to the to do list, and 30 day (or any #) challenges.
4. Needing to finish tasks in order to unlock certain features allows you to start out in a simplified mode as you get used to the interface (which can be kind of clunky tbh).
5. It takes a few minutes to set up and some of it's capabilities have to be unlocked by doing tasks on your current list, such as repeatable tasks and challenges.I have really bad ADHD.
6. I just wish I had this in middle school to help my lazy self actually learn to be productive.I really like the way this app lets you completely customize the tasks and skills you want to build.
7. The use of challenges, where you have to complete one or more pre-set tasks over a certain number of days, is a nice touch.
8. If you add more features such as setting deadlines on "quests" and allowing the same quests to repeat multiple times a day without having to manually recreate them, it will truly be a great app.
9. You can create tasks and skills and automatically create tasks, determine which send notifications, and beneath that is a standalone stat system.
10. Update: The ability to reorder tasks and attributes would be a great feature to add as well.Overall, I really like this app.
11. I understand the app needs to make money somehow, but if the ads are not optional it almost feels worse than a paywall.I love the app and I find that having to unlock features is an amazing motivator.
