1. Its main function is to display frequency (Hz) and amplitude (dB) spectra in real time, but it can also be used to display changes in spectra over time (waterfall view) and to display waveforms (waveform view) at the same time.
2. The app allows the highest frequency setting to be raised to 96 kHz, but settings above 22. 05 kHz are for devices with high-quality audio input and are not intended for general-purpose devices.
3. Since it is not possible to acquire data in the removed range even with a higher setting value, it is normal for the spectrum in this range to contain only weak noise of less than -60 dB.
4. The frequency measurement accuracy of Sound Analyzer Basic is very high, and in a relatively low-noise environment, the measurement error is generally within 0. 1 Hz.
5. Sound Analyzer Basic is an application for analyzing audio signals using only a mobile device.
6. In most devices on the market today, data in the high frequency range above about 22 kHz is filtered out.
7. However, depending on the model, larger noise due to filter processing may appear at certain frequencies such as 48 kHz and 96 kHz.
1. I just need to see which frequencies are lower or higher than the average so I can tweak them with PEQ filters for a level response in the 15Hz to 80Hz range and this should do that with enough accuracy for home theater needs.
2. The ad at the bottom does take up some graph real estate, which is at a premium for phone users. This app is the best! It detects bone rattling frequencies on my Skullcandy Crusher Evo's as low as 10Hz!! It has all the features you need, just one of them is missing.
3. An option to save apex analysis to file would be nice with a user specified recording rate, e.g. 1-10 samples per second.I needed an analyzer to fine tune a subwoofer using DSP.
4. I don't mine the small advert at the bottom of the window, just don't start doing full page ads or my 5 star changes to a 1.Tried a few of these apps and liked this one best.
5. If i press this button in super silent room (and i hold my breath too), the graphic will instantly flat.
6. Love pinch/zoom function, which adjusts frequency and amplitude axis, and can slide to the relevant portion of the graph.
7. 10/10 recommend it!I'm a studio musician, guitar, keyboards, drums and I have to say I am very impressed with this apps.
8. Holding the current lowest sound/frequency, basically a threshold for lower frequencies.
9. I couldn't tell you how accurate the decibel measurements are, but I don't need it to be.
10. I would assume that sounds I can hear would be in the positive range? But nothing reads at above 0 decibels.
11. Example 100 Hz to 2000 Hz.I find it's pretty accurate! But I don't understand what the negative decibel levels are.
