So close to perfect!Ok...after i had this app fot 3 weeks i decided to come back here to read some feedbacks...and i insisted in trying how to make it work...I hate when i have to think with other people brain..that why i find it so hard to deal with PC's and software in general ...but who care i' m 63 y.o. Now explain : why i have to push OFF to turn it ON? is an alliance with Bill Gate? 3. The only reason I'm NOT giving 5 stars is it crashes occasionally (If I had a more expensive tablet this would probably not happen)I'm looking for a function generator that can play a constant 1Hz "carrier wave" so my Bluetooth speaker won't cut off the beginning of spoken words and songs.

4. It's not bad, i use it for teaching kids about the range of human hearing, however compared to other apps it seems to struggle with low frequencies, with us only starting to hear it around 400hz.

6. I believe it's because of the new Oreo OS in my Pixel 2--the background and battery optimization settings don't give it enough priority, so I think it's a programming problem.

1. Fix Sound Signal Generator Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Sound Signal Generator: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Sound Signal Generator App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Sound Signal Generator" » Open Sound Signal Generator » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Sound Signal Generator » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Sound Signal Generator app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Sound Signal Generator servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Sound Signal Generator" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Sound Signal Generator app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Sound Signal Generator might not work.
