1. Advanced FFT Spectrum Analyzer is a real-time ( RTA ) powerful audio tool to visualize and analyze signals from android device microphone in frequency domain. - FFT resolution up to 2. 7Hz!
1. Really excellent tool, kudos to the developers! One suggested improvement will be the ability to expand the low frequency chart (10 to 150Hz) with more gradations (10Hz) increments to determine the subwoofer drop-off.Okay so I've been using this app for roughly 7 months.
2. And also to measure pink noise - i.e frequency response in the room, cos the resolution on the RTA of our digital mixer was grossly inadequate, and impossible to use for any critical audio engineering adjustments.
3. App works as designed 5 stars! Bad reviews = bad test case, app works perfectly! If testing a audio system with hundreds of frequencies, without proper setup the spectrum will just look like high volume noise.
4. But overall, it gives a working idea of how things are, and for a free app, you certainly can't think it's too expensive :)I was looking for an FFT analyzer for use in setting up a new audio/video receiver for the frequency change over between the subwoofer and the other speakers.
5. The app supports a second mic, using the internal mic will not work as it's frequency range will be limited, use a high quality external mic and adjust the averaging value to best for your environment.
6. This is one of the first apps ive downloaded to my device ( its a Samsung Galaxy phone of some sort) anyway I am an audio engineer and i use Faber Acoustical's SignalScope X on my iOS devices for this sort of thing.
7. Excellent tool, wish one could adjust settings while still viewing the frequency response.
8. If you ever come back to work on this app it would be nice to either be able to change the file name of the screenshots or add annotations to the screen before saving.Awesome APP as is but could be even better if it had the ability to save raw data, and not only a screenshot.
9. It displays the frequency response in a logarithmic form and what is what we are used to as audio engineers.
10. This tool has allowed my work to be better because the features on this app give me the tools I need to see what is taking place in the audible frequencies.
11. Also the ability to change the averaging makes me feel the real the response is extremely accurate, while also allowing me to see the change over a long period of time.
