ANA Customer Insights

1. Too complicated and network apps connection is super slow when I was trying to go from one page to the next one... unfortunately, they are the one that have a connecting flight with United.. so I really have no choice but to be patient trying to book my toddler in-flight meal.absolutely horrible! can not pay for my booking...words can't express how frustrated I am!Services on board is excellent.

2. Should further improve all online system to support name >23 char.Old style but works just fine... But sadly more often then not long waiting time and it opens the browser...Logs you out frequently made worse by the fact that you're required to input a 10 digit membership number to log back in.

3. I have to enter different types of information (Confirmation number, Booking Number, ETicket Number, Full Name etc.) to access my booking, then I have to start the process all over again when re-opening the app.

4. Stupidly, their mileage program is a separate app and that's another ridiculously complicated app that doesn't recognise tickets purchased from a different source.Terrible app from a quality airline.

5. Imagine wasting this time at the airport when time is critical.Never in my life have I seen such a horrible flight confirmation process.

6. Its impossible to do online they never give you your confirmation number as a way to make you install the app which inexplicably doesn't require a confirmation number like the website does.

7. I can't even find French Polynesia on this list.Can't find my reservation!! I was just looking at it on their website, but the app doesn't find it.

8. Most of the Airline Apps only need the 6 digit PNR, because all of my information is on this record in my reservation.

9. I've never dealt with such a garbage airline in my life and I will never ever fly ANA again.Worst search function you could possibly choose.

10. This app dosent save my information from the last time I entered it.

11. Who the hell remembers that? All other airlines I use want your email address/user id which makes sense.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ANA Issues

1. Fix ANA Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ANA: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ANA App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ANA" » Open ANA » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ANA » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ANA app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ANA servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ANA" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ANA app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ANA might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ANA. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ANA then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ANA not working


2. Fix ANA Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ANA be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ANA not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ANA may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
