iSmartViewPro Customer Insights

1. The screen is just black, when it works intermittently the night vision doesn't work, I can't run it in the background I have to be on the app to hear anything through the monitor, and the breathing monitor no longer works.

2. But the frame rate is about 1 frame per second, and the audio and the night vision on the camera no longer work at all.The app is lacking in a lot of ways.

3. If anyone is having trouble, I would recommend Googling a guide for this app, as it was very helpful for me to find the additional settings.Like many I had to switch over due to Cocoon Cam (I think we have until June 6th btw) and I'll be honest...i had to connection issues from the start.

4. If you want the camera to stay stationary focused on a certain area, a lot of times it will stay there for 30 seconds and then just move..Absolute trash.

5. When it works there are no problems with night vision, but I cant use mobile data to connect.

6. Can't run it in the background, can't even turn the screen off and have the audio play so it destroys battery life.

7. The app won't run in the background, audio works when it wants same with the video.

8. I finally managed to get audio while the stream is on, but no background audio is a joke for a monitor.

9. Most WiFi is automatically set up at a certain speed, which this camera doesn't support.

10. This app was suggested by my baby monitors company when they could no longer support the monitor and we have had trouble on both android and apple devices ever since.

11. Obviously the feature set is not as robust, but I was able to set up additional users for my family to connect, as well as motion alarms for both.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix iSmartViewPro Issues

1. Fix iSmartViewPro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart iSmartViewPro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the iSmartViewPro App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "iSmartViewPro" » Open iSmartViewPro » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for iSmartViewPro » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear iSmartViewPro app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from iSmartViewPro servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "iSmartViewPro" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check iSmartViewPro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, iSmartViewPro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall iSmartViewPro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall iSmartViewPro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing iSmartViewPro not working


2. Fix iSmartViewPro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make iSmartViewPro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to iSmartViewPro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, iSmartViewPro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Suite à un changement de fournisseur internet, je ne peux plus reprogrammer ma caméra et en plus le QR Code qui se trouvait sous la caméra à disparu avec le temps.
    Pourriez-vous m'aider SVP à la reprogrammer.
