1. Even my phone is connected to the network, it often says "make sure you are connected." Also, the phone number login seldom work (I'm sure it's not the problem with the app itself though.) Whenever I use this app, I feel like I'm in developing countries.It's a joke, can't install it on the device and can't buy extra internet outside of this app.

2. Even the former version has shown different details about my registered phone numbers, than Telekom web account... (two stars -for Telecom, not for this app-, but because I can reach my Telecom account with dektop)Generally I'm not rating any app but this one is ridiculous.

3. Avoid TelekomThe app is incredibly slow (no, it is not a network problem, all other apps using the net, work fine).

4. Well I also have a great advice for them: invest in resources to make it easy for users to use their horrible app.Excellent compared to Vodafone! Translations are available (Eng and Ukrainian!), but not everything is translated and not everything is translated well (hence, 4 star.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Telekom Issues

1. Fix Telekom Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Telekom: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Telekom App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Telekom" » Open Telekom » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Telekom » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Telekom app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Telekom servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Telekom" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Telekom app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Telekom might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Telekom. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Telekom then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Telekom not working


2. Fix Telekom Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Telekom be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Telekom not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Telekom may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
