1. The volume is better, still not as loud as I would like or need it to be, but...I can tolerate it until my replacement phone comes! It definitely boosts the volume of your phone, which is exactly what it's supposed to do, the only thing I'm not too crazy about with the App is you really can't control whether it's on or off since there's no specific button or icon for doing that so it'll be on when you start your phone and stay on until you actually go into the App & adjust the percentage of the "boost" amount so that it's equal to being off...that is the only way I can see that could be considered a way to shut it off (maybe some directions that are a bit more specific on how to use the app and not just a vague "you're volume is being boosted" would be helpful in that area) plus an icon short cut would be a nice & easier route to controlling the App instead of having to actually go all th...
2. Generally, if the app seems to not be working, it's due to the fact that if you've boosted the volume beyond the hard limit on android's physical hardware, the app will default to no boost at all (bc they don't want to break your phone or ear drums).
3. There was a problem I did come across, which was that the app wouldn't connect to the music app.( which really sucks!) Especially, when you have to go back and forth to each app (with the music app shut down each time) just to do the equalizer and to turn the volume up on the volume booster. The appearance is pleasant and intuitive and when it works, it's great.
4. However, YouTube videos and spotify, those apps were loud and clear...just the volume when talking on the phone.
5. 2 slide controls, one for the phone VOLUME and the other is the BOOST.
6. This app didn't give me super loud volume, but, I was at least able to talk on it now without having to put it on speaker phone.
7. Seemed to do the trick cause the volume does increase when I move the booster slider percentage up.
8. I've tried a few, but I continue my search.Good, does make the volume louder.
9. I tend to not use the Equilizer because it actually makes the frequency's get mixed up with one another making the music sound distorted, maybe if it was a equalizer that had all adjustable bands it might work.
10. To make it work on a consistent basis, in my phone's settings I turned off battery optimization and data saver for this app.
11. And it stays working there for all sounds produced by the phone, even after I've had to reboot the device for whatever reason, etc.CAUTION! it will overdrive your inputs if you are not careful.
