1. If there was a way to delete recordings, I would definitely rate five stars!Awesome app for tracking one's voice progress, no matter where a person trips and falls on the gender spectrum.
2. It's great, but the one thing that was significant enough to deduct 40% off the ratings is the inability to playback the recording.. it would have been nice to be able to playback the recording to actually hear the changes of my voice over time.
3. I accidentally recorded a couple audios that had a way higher pitch than my normal speaking voice, and now my average level is definitively feminine, instead of androgynous like it would be with just the recordings I intended to make.
4. I've used it for a while now, and when paired with playing back recordings of one's voice, it really gives a person a huge dopamine rush when it reminds one of their progress.
5. If the app had options to remove an entry (I accidentally saved an empty one) and to zoom in (I tried it once half a year ago and now it's hard to see my progress during the past couple of weeks because most of the space is taken by that empty 6 months in between) I would give 5 stars.
6. Thanks a ton!I think this is an amazing idea and I like the results it is showing me, but I wish I could hear the playback of my voice under the graph where it shows the frequency inflections.
7. I recently underwent vocal cord surgery and this helps me track not only my recovery, but my progress and consistency of pitch and vocal variation by looking at the "pitch over time" graph.
8. If I could change anything I would really like cross-device syncing or some way to make backup files I could toss into Google drive for safekeeping.Good app! I only started using it recently, but I think it'll be a great help in tracking my progress.
9. Speaking of which I'm not sure if there's a straightforward way to back up your data/place in the book.I'm a trans guy and this app has been a really cool way to see how my voice has dropped over time.
10. So just keep that in mind. The reading selection being The Picture of Dorian Gray is quite charging (although I assume a part of the reason at least is that it's public domain, this has been the selection for as long as I've used the app).
11. But word of advice, when reading the passages, keep in mind if you're speaking with your natural speaking voice.
