LFI Customer Insights

1. Besides that, it would be nice if users could set a specific Mastershot catalog to open default or if the app remembered this, since i only look in one subcategory and the app seems to open random galleries each time it's started.Quality from Leica, as alwaysGreat content but the app is slow, storage heavy compsred to most other photography , magazine apps.

2. 😒 Scrolling the magazine one page at a time (and not returning to where i left off) is unacceptable.Slow and useless.

8. Yes, i know users can choose Mastershots => M, but i mean more specific sorted by exact lenses and/or cameras.

9. I would rather just go to the website.I think it would be nice with a third tab [Equipment] so users could browse images sorted by the equipment that was used.

10. I intalled the Android app to read the digital version of the magazine.

11. Really want to be able to use this app and consume, but I've had it installed for a long time and every time I think "I'll try again" it disappointing.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix LFI Issues

1. Fix LFI Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart LFI: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the LFI App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "LFI" » Open LFI - Leica Fotografie Int. » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for LFI » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear LFI - Leica Fotografie Int. app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from LFI servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "LFI - Leica Fotografie Int." » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check LFI app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, LFI might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall LFI. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall LFI then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing LFI not working


2. Fix LFI Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make LFI be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to LFI not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, LFI may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
