Why should I report an Issue with crabhands: new music releases ?

1. Let us track your favourite artists and send you notification alerts when they release new music on Spotify, or we discover any upcoming releases for them!

2. A list of the latest new releases will then be available in the app, and we will scan and track the festival lineups and find your top festivals based on the number of your artists playing.

3. We sync the artists you follow on Spotify before we check for new releases, so if you have followed new artists then they'll get included when we scan for new releases.

4. You can also sync your Spotify artists yourself (and scan your saved music while doing this too if you have that option set), as well as manually add artists to the app.

5. Simply connect your Spotify account and we will scan for the artists that you follow and (optionally) those that you have saved music for.

6. We then notify you each day if any of these artists release new music on Spotify and if you have a new top festival, as each day we keep an eye on the festival lineups for you.

7. New music releases are optionally added to a playlist which we create within your Spotify account so that you have one easy place to listen to new music.

8. Also find out which festivals have the largest number of your artists in their lineup!

9. If you don’t want to receive notifications for any of the artists we find then you can just make them inactive.

10. Please note: you cannot listen to the releases within the app - you do this within Spotify as usual.

1. But other than that, amazing app!!Great app! Just one minor problem, the "upcoming releases" section doesn't have anything it (just says 0 upcoming releases).

2. Although I personally was hoping to finally find an app which would display combined history of releases for the tens of artists that I listen to in one place, instead of having to check whether I missed something new last month for each and every one of them separately.

3. I like seeing the new releases at a glance, but adding a whole album to a playlist is excessive, especially on a weekly basis.New user of this app... And I'm thrilled, this is exactly what I wanted and needed it to be.

4. It says it syncs my artists but has stopped saying that there are any releases! Well, it turned out that I had literally turned off very notifications that I was wanting.

10. I have 806 active artists, 272 following, and I know for a fact of one album coming out in a few days by an artist I follow and listen to often, but its not in here.

11. My only issue was that on initial import, it also added a ton of artists that I DON'T follow and do not want to follow, just because they were featured artists on tracks that I liked.

1. Fix crabhands Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart crabhands: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the crabhands App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "crabhands" » Open crabhands: new music releases » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for crabhands » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear crabhands: new music releases app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from crabhands servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "crabhands: new music releases " » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check crabhands app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, crabhands might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall crabhands. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall crabhands then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing crabhands not working

2. Fix crabhands Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make crabhands be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to crabhands not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, crabhands may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
