1. I used to be able to open the app and get real time data on its position.Very useful app for a large array of a very broad area, this app is paired with a fairly cheap GPS TRACKER which are sold on Ebay,and are great value for money, these trackers once charged have an amazing battery standby time of up to 3 months and are worth every dollar.

Total rubbish, time to get a new GPS.I bought this about 12 months ago and it was working great, but then all of a sudden it stopped reporting the location of the tracker in the app, so either the webservice the app calls has been changed and the app no longer works, or someone turned a server off somewhere.
3. I suggest you devs fix your app since it's very disappointing.Clear app data in phone settings and reinput all details for your tracker and it ended up working fine again for me after not being able to launch the app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix LKGPS2 Issues
1. Fix LKGPS2 Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart LKGPS2: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the LKGPS2 App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "LKGPS2" » Open LKGPS2 » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for LKGPS2 » click "UPDATE".
- Clear LKGPS2 app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from LKGPS2 servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "LKGPS2" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check LKGPS2 app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, LKGPS2 might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall LKGPS2. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall LKGPS2 then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing LKGPS2 not working
2. Fix LKGPS2 Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make LKGPS2 be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to LKGPS2 not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, LKGPS2 may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Several years ago I bought a lk209d beacon and it is broken now and I threw it away. I bought a new one and inserted my old phone simcard (thas was in the first device), I executed the setup but each time I try to install (after uninstalling) the ikgps app, it always shows the last known position from my old device... It still has the old device number 4209182159 listed and I can't change it in the new device number being 8209014608.... Can you help?

The app will not load my car anymore. I had to change the SIM card from the original sim car recently. Also when I send where or g123456# it takes extremely long to reply at least 45 minutes and sometimes hours.
