Why should I report an Issue with GasBuddy: Find & Pay for Gas?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.
2. Pulling issues faced by users like you is a good way to draw attention of GasBuddy to your problem using the strength of crowds.
3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. I do not know why there is a bigger deal and price listed? I can assume the smaller deal is accurate but it is very confusing and this has just started happening in the last couple months.My home state, Michigan, is about to mandate no contact with mobile devices while driving.

If you do click on the right station, that you have since driven to while the app still thinks you are 5 miles away, because it won't follow you, then it yells at you "Are you sure this is the right station?" YES! And if you toggle back and forth map/list too many times to make it work, then it crashes.App currently has alot of bugs and glitches.

3. The station shows one deal/ price, but when you click on the station it shows that deal and a different, lower total price.

4. Too many errors to be of any use! List only reports about 4 stations close to my location then continues the list with stations 80 km from me.I, along with others i see in the review, am having problems where th app crashes with in seconds.

5. But Google is showing correct position in their maps, so not all GPS supported apps are experiencing the same issue as your app.2023-06-22: Inaccurate data displayed, too many ads and click-bait interfering with use.

6. Fix your app, and I'll adjust my review.App is constantly crashing, can't even activate a deal or look at the map for more than a few seconds before it closes.

7. Also many times when gas prices are incorrect, I report the new price and within minutes the old price is reflected at that location once again.

8. After your referral makes their first purchase, GasBuddys sends you an email about a $5 reward to be credited shortly, but it is never credited.

9. But my review is about the deal alert prices.

10. App is losing popularity, prices are updated by users rarely, and can be as much as 30 cents off, which makes it worthless.

11. I really appreciated this app for a couple of years, the prices reported were correct and up to date.

1. Fix GasBuddy Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart GasBuddy: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the GasBuddy App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GasBuddy" » Open GasBuddy: Find & Pay for Gas » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GasBuddy » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear GasBuddy: Find & Pay for Gas app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GasBuddy servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GasBuddy: Find & Pay for Gas" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check GasBuddy app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GasBuddy might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall GasBuddy. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GasBuddy then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GasBuddy not working

2. Fix GasBuddy Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GasBuddy be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GasBuddy not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GasBuddy may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
