Why should I report an Issue with Hiya: Spam Blocker & Caller ID?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.
2. Pulling issues faced by users like you is a good way to draw attention of Hiya to your problem using the strength of crowds.
3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. I'll be uninstalling.I love your app it does a great job at identifying potential spam but the last update cause my phone to glitch and not allow my call waiting to function properly.

There is no point in keeping an app like this, if that's the case.I would give it zero stars if I could because even though I keep the app updated it has randomly blocked EVERY call INCLUDING my contacts! I couldn't unblock any of them even though the "unblock" option is there it just doesn't respond to me clicking on it.

My previous review is gone.Don't know how well this works yet, but I will leave a review immediately because of something about the UI that is annoying, and that is every time you load the app or reopen it, it reloads all the call logs stored on the device at once, and if you have a lot like I do, it can take quite a few seconds.

4. Consider this for the future.Features that have been free for as long as I've had this app now require a paid subscription! This is ridiculous, and I'm uninstalling and looking for something better.

5. Literally, all the free options your app offers my phone already does (block calls from manually added numbers and block calls from private numbers).

6. It was a great app at one point, now... Not so much.This app was really useful once upon a time, but they took previously standard features and put them behind a subscription wall.

7. Even before the change, the app has always been "meh" because even for numbers on my block list, it would ring at least once before it blocked the call.

8. Most of the time calls ring and ring, doesn't really seem to block right away like it used to.

9. Automatic blocking and call identification are essential features.

11. Developers could have used a one-time payment for premium but no no, they're going the way of the horrible monthly subscription service.

1. Fix Hiya Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Hiya: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Hiya App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Hiya" » Open Hiya: Spam Blocker & Caller ID » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Hiya » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Hiya: Spam Blocker & Caller ID app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Hiya servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Hiya: Spam Blocker & Caller ID" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Hiya app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Hiya might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Hiya. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Hiya then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Hiya not working

2. Fix Hiya Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Hiya be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Hiya not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Hiya may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
