1. OLD: still there even after several releases, the bug with the Notification panel saying "connecting" while TB support assured me I am really "connected".Love the TunnelBear brand; very well designed, amusing.
2. (Browsing, streaming music and videos, but am not a gamer, so can't offer opinion there.) On rare occasions will interfere with use of a web site or app and I have to disable it temporarily-- eg, editing Wikipedia or some but not all functions of Google Earth-- but that's only a minor inconvenience and not a deal-breaker.
3. So I have to go through the hassle of going into the play store and repurchase it in order for it to recognize my subscription - even though it's listed as current in my Google play subscription list.
4. I'm looking for alternatives of anyone has a suggestion.I've been using TunnelBear as my VPN for two-three weeks now and it's been great.
5. However when it is on it works great, which is most of the time.Easy to set up, no perceptible slowdown in speeds for my uses.
6. Additionally, I occasionally find myself logged out for some reason when I try to connect via my notification panel (they have that too).
7. I assumed this wouldn't have been the solution, since I am on my home WiFi, but it was.Update 2: as advertised this problem is resolved.
8. It's pretty annoying —especially for something that I'm paying for.Doesn't always connect automatically even when my settings are configured for it.
9. After running through a few possible solutions, I believe my problem has been solved.
10. I connect it and then shortly thereafter realize it's not connected anymore and that it didn't alert me of the change in any way.
11. I was asked for more information on my issue and given a list of possible solutions.
