1. If it's an important email, I have to screenshot it so I know I can reliably access it later.As an email client it's largely flawless, and has all the features I could want - except one very important feature: you can't export or import your accounts and settings from one installation to another (sms transfer doesn't work either, especially for tablets with no phone #.

2. But this morning, I sent an email (long and extremely difficult to recreate), and it just VANISHED INTO ?????!!!! It's not in Outbox, Sent, Drafts, Junk...nowhere. Tried 3 different clients plus browser and desktop options, on multiple devices.

3. One, add special ring tone, is deceptive as it states that it used the contact list; it DOES NOT! It uses the inbox addresses, not IMPORTANT CONTACT LIST! VERY DISAPPOINTING when one needs to scan every email address to get to the one wanted.

4. I handle email on multiple devices and it's annoying when I send one from my phone but it doesn't show up as sent elsewhere.

5. Selecting multiple posts is a bit awkward, and when you want to delete or move them, you need to go to the bottom of the screen, whereas you go to the top to do the same thing for an individual email, which I find needlessly confusing.

6. However, I can't give it more than three stars because I cannot open an email from the inbox without having to go out, clear my open programs, and then go back into the app.

7. The SEND LATER option is cool, but it's not able to be adjusted to an hour.This is a great all around email app that I've used for years.

8. Basic email app that just shows your inbox without presumptuously deciding what you want to see.

9. It was, and still kinda is, the best app if you had multiple email accounts across different providers.

10. I have seven email accounts and it has been great for managing everything.

11. This is especially problematic because I would think emails already downloaded, opened, and staying in my Inbox would be accessible but they aren't-- awful for time-critical items.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix TypeApp mail Issues

1. Fix TypeApp mail Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart TypeApp mail: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the TypeApp mail App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TypeApp mail" » Open TypeApp mail - email app » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TypeApp mail » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear TypeApp mail - email app app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TypeApp mail servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TypeApp mail - email app" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check TypeApp mail app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TypeApp mail might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall TypeApp mail. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TypeApp mail then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TypeApp mail not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TypeApp mail be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TypeApp mail not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TypeApp mail may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
