1. All folder based and not music index (tag) based, and no ability to select all files under a folder or multiple folders, you must select songs individually to add to Playlist.
2. I don't use easy passwords so it's a real hassle if you want better network security instead of using a short simple password.I was looking for an app that would stream the 400+ Christmas songs on my wife's PC to her Bluetooth speaker while we were putting Christmas lights on the house.
3. I'll give 5 star once multiple playlist feature is added.Does (almost) exactly what I needed: playing mp3 music easily from a Windows shared folder.
4. Currently, you have to either create a playlist (tedious as I currently have over 30k songs across 4,556 folders) or navigate to a folder and play from there without any subfolders included.
5. Aside from these issues, it is currently the best Samba music player I have found for my older device (4.1.2 Kit Kat). This app does all I need and does it very well.
6. It caches folder contents, so external updates to a shared folder don't show up unless you do a re-scan of your entire music source.
7. Alexa will pause, play next, etc... I couldn't ask for more.Yes, allows you to stream from a network location, but missing most features that would actually make this usable.
8. I formerly used Soumi Music Player, and even paid for it so it wouldn't limit the number of media files.
9. It is easy to select a folder and play all tracks.
10. What's not to like? If you're looking to stream music over SMB to a Bluetooth speaker, this is THE app to get!Great music app.
11. I am grateful this works to play music from my NAS, so I paid for no ads.
