1. BandFriend is great for scouting talent for a band, making new jam buddies, and/or find a good teacher is your new to an instrument or music in general.User friendly and easy to navigate app for searching bands and musicians in your area.This is a nifty little app.

The search system for other musicians has to be one of the highlights, however; you can specify your play style to a wide variety of different subcategories (i.e what kind of rock/metal/jazz/etc.) You can also specify which instruments you play/skills you have as well as a gear list if you want.

4. The app itself looks very clean and if it had more users it surely would be a great app to find other musicians.At the moment needs work.

Right now if you search for musicians by location there's no filter between them and if you search by instrument it only does a search in your location which means you have to go to the city you are looking to find a musician in unless I'm missing something.This app is terrible n I usually do not give bad reviews often.

6. This app is well organized, and you get an well idea of other musicians instruments, skill level, projects they're/were in, what genres they play.

7. Best part is, you can specifically search for any of these subcategories while searching for other nearby musicians.

8. Also the buttons dont work unless you back up to the beginning each time.

11. I had a couple of issues when I first started with Band Friend, but they were sorted double quick.

1. Fix BandFriend Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart BandFriend: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the BandFriend App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BandFriend" » Open BandFriend - Musicians Network » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BandFriend » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear BandFriend - Musicians Network app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BandFriend servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BandFriend - Musicians Network" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check BandFriend app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BandFriend might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall BandFriend. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BandFriend then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BandFriend not working

2. Fix BandFriend Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BandFriend be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BandFriend not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BandFriend may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
