1. This app enables you to measure various distances on an image provided at least one distance is known.
2. Simply calibrate the app with a/the known distance and all other distances will be calculated automatically.
3. Very handy for real estate agents, handymen, map aficionados and other people interested in measuring distances on an image.
1. Apparently it was designed for an older android and hasn't been updated, according to the pop up when I first installed it.After you get a Line drawn to the exact spot required (which is hit and miss because your fingers covering it, no magnifier style display) and you convert inches to mm on google because this app is metric only, the app shuts down when you save your calibration value.
2. This app is so hard to use on a phone! It's almost impossible to get perfect accuracy because the tip of your finger blocks the end of the line, measuring small things on the screen is a nightmare, and you can't manipulate an already existing line once it's placed, if you try, you'll just end up making a new line.
3. The end of the line is always hidden under the thumb and isn't editable. The only app like this I could find and it WORKS! You draw a line on something in the picture that you know the measurement of, and every line after that is scaled properly.
4. You draw a line along an edge in the photo that you have measured in real life.
5. After that, every line you draw is shown in centimeters instead of pixels.
6. But when I opened it up on my Pixel 6, as soon as I hit "okay" to calibrate the line length, it crashed.
7. Reason is very sensitive to measure.I WANT TO LOVE THIS! Unfortunately the app Keeps crashing after I enter a calibration value.
8. The picture of the menu in the app description shows white letters on a black background.
9. On my S20 the main menu is gray letters on a gray background.
10. Hopefully Developer will get bugs worked out.No zoom function which makes it impossible to use.
11. Could do with a zoom function as otherwise I guess you have to zoom your photo first.
