Otherwise it will not.Errors and logs you out forcing u to close and reopen, sometimes if app is open , control don't work on device , it's bad, device sometimes goes off hold mode and stops workingI just got a message on my phone from my notifications that said"Simple payment made through PayPal for $197.00" that is absurd!!!! This is scammy coming from Simple thermostat!! I didn't authorize a payment from them.... and I don't know why this is coming out of my PayPal from my bank account for stimulus his service, this should be a free service because I own the thermostat! There never was instructions that I have to pay $197.00 to run my thermostat from the app!!!!! MONEY BACK NOW!!!!!!Not sure if this app is good or bad because it wont load or loads with errors whether on my android phone or iPad!Connect connect the thermostat.

2. The app works... still its been a year since the last update.. no security updates have been needed? Is this the final version of the application?issues setting up the thermostat..app..and connection with Alexa..BUT tech.

3. Plus, the Nest does significantly more too..Difficult to install a replacement thermostat!! If you have to replace a defective thermostat with a new one, UNINSTALL THIS APP!! Then when you re-install the app it will work.

1. Fix Simple Thermostat Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Simple Thermostat: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Simple Thermostat App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Simple Thermostat" » Open Simple Thermostat » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Simple Thermostat » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Simple Thermostat app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Simple Thermostat servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Simple Thermostat" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Simple Thermostat app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Simple Thermostat might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Simple Thermostat. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Simple Thermostat then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Simple Thermostat not working
