1. Don't get your hopes up that you've found help!I don't often share or tweet or review things, but I decided that this time it's worth it, I was in a very deep depression for as long as I can remember and I always had to battle it, I've been through therapy sessions for a while and the weekly session never seemed to help, I decided to give the app a go, after a few messages with the counselor the service assigned to me I realized that he fact I have someone to talk to around the clock was cardinal to my state, and when I started to get into my mellow down mood, I instantly opened the app and shared that with my therapist (Morrie), she was always there and responsive, thought me some methods to observe what's going on and to divert my thinking on to different outcomes, gradually and slowly I managed to bypass some of the downs until I managed to train my self to nearly completely avoid it,...
2. I can't state how grateful I am for the help I got here, don't suffer alone!I have what's been diganosed as "crippling anxiety" - this means that everyday actions which may seem like the silliest things to you, are huge challenges for me: going to school, taking the bus, even taking care of myself - which includes going to the therapist's office... The only way around it is with this app, and it basically forces me to get treated - without the super difficult act of physically visiting an office! For years the world seemed black and white, everything felt so dull… Honestly? I didn't really see a purpose for it all.
3. I recommend it!I'm already feeling much better! Seriously, thank god my mom saw an ad for this - we were just talking about the stress im always in because of work and how I feel like the world is closing down on me - and then the next day she calls and says she has the solution! Of course I didn't really think therapy on an app would be any good at first, but after actually giving it a shot it turns out that this is one of the best investments i've ever made - having someone always available is priceless.Don't bother,it'll make you feel worse about yourself when they deny you by email.
4. Just a heads up for others. The app sucks big time, I couldn't complete my setup because of having to send a 3 digit code to my Gmail and I've sent it to two different emails and never got it I wouldn't recommend this app to anybody until that is fixed.I've been searching for an effective therapist for longer than I care to mention.
5. I decided to try online therapy after seeing a commercial for it, and my first experience wasn't so great - my therapist wasn't really responsive and I didn't feel a connection.
6. When I use the app to talk to my psychologist, it feels like the battle can be won.Being surrounded by people at my work and having to face stressful situations has left me feeling vulnerable and weak... This is the one true place that is a safe environment for me.
7. Having this site and my lovely therapist is what allows me to handle all the s**t in my life, and he even let's me use this kind of language as part of my therapy ;) It's very affordable and so very convenient and friendly.
8. So great suggestion but I have a feeling just like myself most of your app users have tried going somewhere else and have been put on a 6month if not 6year waiting list.
9. It took me no time at all to learn my way around and find the right counselor ......Took service over a week to match me with counselor.
10. After deciding counselor wasn't a good fit I chose to cancel service.
11. Lucky for me, it's really easy to request a change, and Mona who was paired with me afterwards is a really good fit - she gets me, and she always has a great perspective on my life and my issues.
