1. Keep it up! Last comment: Chats are lagging (no real time notification) and always issue with server which made uploading of listing slow and most of the time impossible.Easily the worst marketplace I've tried to sell on.

2. I'll be checking out in August just give those rare few a chance to find me.Should have more intuitive functions like 'mark as unsold' to reinstate the listing just like how facebook marketplace works so doesn't have to go through hassle of re-creating when its accidentally mark as sold.

3. If you think your product isn't trendy enough, you can promote your listing via Smart Bumps, Regular Bumps, and Spotlight! You can also make a shout-out to the buyer for 347 Carousell Coins.App is improving so I'm going to slowly increase the star ratings as it goes.

4. Initially, I thought the notification setting was not properly done but apparently it wasn't, and this app bug has caused me losing a few potential deals.Rubbish new quota system by them to limit your listings per month.

5. With every update, the app just gets worse.There is no option to change the default "Filter and sort" result listing from 'Best match' to anything else.

6. This is by far the worst update they came up with this farI actually love this app because you can search for so many cheap used items and even get free items but the app is always loading.

7. Edit: The update is ridiculous, sellers now can list their items easily because you have to key in each section instead of seeing it in one page to see if everything is correct.

8. You can sell things in the easiest step; just put the item you want to sell, put a category, name the price, and describe your item.

9. And should allow users to still leave review if mark as sold without offer being made by the other party.

10. What's the point of having a best match which was from last month? It's a hassle to do it everytime you so a search.

11. I need to wait for a long time so that the picture item will appear.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Carousell Issues

1. Fix Carousell Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Carousell: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Carousell App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Carousell" » Open Carousell: Sell and Buy » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Carousell » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Carousell: Sell and Buy app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Carousell servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Carousell: Sell and Buy" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Carousell app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Carousell might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Carousell. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Carousell then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Carousell not working


2. Fix Carousell Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Carousell be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Carousell not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Carousell may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
