1. If you do anything besides watch the selected video straight through (e.g. 15s rewind, change the playback speed, rotate the screen back to portrait mode, etc) you run a high risk of it completely crashing on you and having to wait to get the error message pop up asking if you want to force close it.The talks are good but the app itself is slow and a bit buggy the player opens when I change the volume or it doesn't open at all I tap on the screen and nothing happens it doesn't close the app when I'm tapping the back button it really sucks.

2. I do appreciate the double language subtitles feature though.The content and personalization features are great but any interaction with a video that is in progress causes the app to crash.

3. It forces you to hit your own phone's back button if you want to pause, meanwhile the video is still playing as it minimizes the whole video.

4. You have to press on the play bar to get the video up again, and only then the pause button is available.

5. I finally got it to click a video and it freezes on the play video screen and im unable to actually play the video.

6. if you try to rewind, change to portarit mode, skip ahead...video will stop playing.

7. So if you're halfway through a video and it crashes you can restart it, but you cant skip ahead to the spot you were on last.

8. Overall, the only reason I didn't give this app 1 star is because the content is worthwhile and the interface would be great if I could get the downloading to work smoothly.

9. It won't even let me watch a video, it Takes a long time to even start to search.

10. What is with a 20-minute ads that are hard to skip? If you tried to listen to a playlist, it inserts ads that are 20 minutes long and then you have to click a button to skip.

11. Through categories (vertically) is fine and goes smoothly but when I try to scroll horizontally through a category it jumps from 1st to the second thumbnail being halfway through the screen.

1. Fix TED Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart TED: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the TED App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TED" » Open TED » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TED » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear TED app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TED servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TED" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check TED app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TED might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall TED. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TED then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TED not working

2. Fix TED Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TED be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TED not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TED may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
