1. They didn't stop maintaining paid memberships though.This app has no login option so y can forget using your TED account and lists and watched history! Furthermore, many talks are not available in this app when they are available on the iPhone app! Very strange that they seem to have stopped supporting this app for two years now!No Update.

2. There is no login mechanism so your viewing info cannot be synchronised with your TED account, and many videos available on the TED website are not available in this app.

3. Why lie about it?Google TV version doesn't have account log-in and thus there is no watch list synchronization between devices and no personal recommendations based on what you watch on other devices.

4. Why do they need to record my voice? There's no help option to ask someone how to change it, no contact information to contact them to ask.

5. I tried to edit it in settings and there is no option to change it.

6. If you say there is a way to change it via settings then give users the option to change it via settings.

7. Really the lack of ability to change settings is the worst thing though.

8. It asked me whether I minded if it recorded my voice searches and I said yes because it said you can edit this later in settings.

1. Fix TED TV Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart TED TV: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the TED TV App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TED TV" » Open TED TV » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TED TV » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear TED TV app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TED TV servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TED TV" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check TED TV app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TED TV might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall TED TV. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TED TV then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TED TV not working

2. Fix TED TV Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TED TV be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TED TV not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TED TV may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
