1. 2 suggestions: it would be easier to have the possibility to also type in the date, instead of just scrolling through the calendar - items like canned beans or similar have very long expiration dates, it's a lot of swiping! Also, it would be nice to be able to add more main lists, i.e. we have a secondary fridge in the garage and I'd like to keep that list separate. Its great.
2. Ability to look at a recipe and see if you have all those ingredients.I love that this one has an open database for users to scan in unknown items once to add, then we're able to find them quickly next time.
3. A button to add the photo if the item is in the database but there is no photo (sometimes the find image option according to name does not work well) Great work!Simple, but nicely done.
4. Also, I understand finding pictures on the internet isn't great due to the small database library, but at least implement the option to add our own pictures to the database.Currently trialing this app VS a Google Doc Par Sheet (restaurant kitchen stock sheet) even though the two options have different goals built into their design.
5. [3] Allow ability to assign personal photos to items – photos won't be added to the database.
6. A subtraction button, you scan a product and enter the quantity of items that you are using/consuming to be subtracted from the inventory 3.
7. The ability to add my own photo to an item already in database.
8. The developer is quick to respond to questions and already added the ability to share a list with a group.
9. Maybe a means to automatically add it to the shopping list when it gets low enough, or send out a warning notification? Though I can live without those two.Have used it for about 30 Minutes now and the app has POTENTIAL, but there's a few things that need to be implemented ASAP.
10. Sometimes the pic options will not work due to copyright or is not a pic of the product (it's a pic of cooked food).Just organized my entire pantry, fridge and freezer and very happy with it so far.
11. Suggestions: [1] Default the quantity to "1" and add a drop down menu to choose higher value numbers (avoids opening of keyboard).
