1. Rook CoffeeWhen childhood friends Holly and Shawn stepped away from their old careers and started Rook Coffee in 2010, they wanted to make people feel special.
2. Since the beginning, in that 300-square-foot shack, Rook has strived to offer specialty coffees that inspire genuine, human connections.
1. Cannot use gift card for payment if it will not cover the full total of the bill, cannot enter discount codes, if too busy they will just turn off the app making it seem like they're closed instead of having a "too busy to order" message.
2. You still cannot see your gift card balance for those loaded to the app and you are also unable to use those amounts when less than your order total.
3. There should be a message that pops up giving the app user a reason for why they can't place their order at that time.Always exceptional service.
4. Also, once the order is done and you hit pay, it requires your to select an option for tip (even if that amount is $0) and then requires you to confirm the amount AGAIN before placing the order.
5. Needs to be architects to the pages don't take seconds to load the whole premise of an app is as convenient yes we can place orders but you almost have to pull over to wait for the app to load to be able to check out.
6. There are a LOT of options in this app and that's good for truly customizing your order, but I find them a little cumbersome.
7. Hoping the coffee shop reads the notes, since those options were missing. Most of us are ordering while we're in the car and the app is simply so slow.
8. So you hit pay, select a tip, then pay again... It's a little extra. This is one of those really good no BS apps where the user interface and the experience is so streamlined that you don't even realize you're actually in an app.
9. Good coffee though..App works most of the time, but was glitchy more in the beginning.
10. Can get crowded during the summer months but the app makes it super easy to avoid tough clientele.
11. I have enough points to get a coffee, but the app is only letting me redeem something of more point value (food).
