1. The most recent update is GREAT! The "check" to include/exclude data interactively is a great new feature and the Energy Balance clearly explains power "to" and "from." Love the color choices for each data point.

2. Nobody thought it would be smart to add a push notification to the app to alert the customer?Works well for me! Stays in sync with what my panels are doing and shows me graphs for each day, week, month, year, and billing cycle.

3. It is slow, and I feel that's not the experience users should receive when it is being made mandatory to migrate to another app.Is great until the connection stalls and stops recording your data.

4. Also, I recently have an inverter replaced, and all historical data was wiped out.The new version is much less functional than the previous one that I had rated as exceptionally good.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix mySolarEdge Issues

1. Fix mySolarEdge Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart mySolarEdge: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the mySolarEdge App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "mySolarEdge" » Open mySolarEdge » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for mySolarEdge » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear mySolarEdge app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from mySolarEdge servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "mySolarEdge" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check mySolarEdge app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, mySolarEdge might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall mySolarEdge. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall mySolarEdge then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing mySolarEdge not working


2. Fix mySolarEdge Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make mySolarEdge be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to mySolarEdge not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, mySolarEdge may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I am unable to connect to my inverter. I have scanned the QR code on the side of the box as instructed; but it tells me to "Move the inverter red ON/OFF/P switch to the 'P' position and release within 2 seconds". There is no 'P' position on my switch: just ON and OFF. I tried turning it off and on again but it still can't connect.

  • I had my solar panels connected on Monday 18th July; the installers explained that the app was collecting production data from that point. However, mySolarEdge only shows production data from the time I first logged in, which was Monday 25th July at 12-noon. How can I see the first week of data?
