1. It is software issue for the developers that hasn't been resolved in months.notifications of messages open the app at the main page, not the message itself.

2. Time to get new programmers!The biggest issue I have with the app is that notifications don't work so when there's a new match or somebody sends me a message I don't know about it unless I go into the app.

3. Good customer support in terms of response time and confirming the issue(s), but no indication of timing of resolution or options to notify people I'm talking to so it doesn't look like I'm ghosting.

7. If it doesn't work well for free, why would I ever pay for it? I wouldn't suggest spending a penny on this app.Not getting any notifications.

8. Tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it no change, check my notification settings for this app, and the app is allowed to send notifications.

9. Location/distance doesn't work properly, the same profiles show up numerous times - even after swiping, it constantly logs you out, and the premium pricing is a rip-off.

10. I currently have multiple open conversations I can't see and this delay in being able to respond does not look good/invalidates key core functionality.

11. The price to get anything but the basic functions is really high by comparison.Biggest issue I have is that the distance choices are inflexible.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix JSwipe Issues

1. Fix JSwipe Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart JSwipe: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the JSwipe App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "JSwipe" » Open JSwipe – Jewish Dating & Love » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for JSwipe » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear JSwipe – Jewish Dating & Love app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from JSwipe servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "JSwipe – Jewish Dating & Love" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check JSwipe app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, JSwipe might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall JSwipe. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall JSwipe then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing JSwipe not working


2. Fix JSwipe Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make JSwipe be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to JSwipe not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, JSwipe may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
