Pepco Smart Home Customer Insights

1. The door closed alert is important otherwise I need to manually check the door or open the app and look at details.Works fine, i just have not had a chance to explore all fetures yet, but would recomendMost recent update seems buggy.

2. When a door opens, I get an alert hours later; useless to be alerted hours later.Light switch behaviors seem to have been removed, meaning they can no longer be used as automatic outdoor lights.

3. Please resolve this issue.Alerts me about an open door but does not alert me when the door is closed.

4. Btw, where to buy extra motion sensors and temperature sensor?Smart Plugs dropped offline frequently.

5. When motion detector detects nothing for 10 minutes, the switch will turn off as I set it up.

6. Horrible loss of functionality there.The app is fine and the rules are easy to setup.

7. Smart switches cannot be controlled by phone.

8. Now Smart Plugs won't connect at all.

9. It doesn't show the authentication page.

10. But it lost some functions several months ago.

11. However, I am no long able to link to Google home.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Pepco Smart Home Issues

1. Fix Pepco Smart Home Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

  3. Clear Pepco Smart Home app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Pepco Smart Home servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Pepco Smart Home" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Pepco Smart Home app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Pepco Smart Home might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Pepco Smart Home. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Pepco Smart Home then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Pepco Smart Home not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Pepco Smart Home be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
