1. Needs to be resolved.I just received my new Simrad mfd and want to connect the app to it.. In the first step in the app I get a http 503 error about a corrupt JSON... A user should not get this kind of errors... and this shows a lack of QA.. So not a very promising start...Autoroute does not work anymore, it worked before.
2. When I connect to the device hotspot I lose Internet connectivity on my phone so I tried making my phone a hktspot and making the go9 connect to it.
3. I love Simrad marine electronics, that being said, the auto routing which the app suggests for planning purposes is absolutely terrible.
4. By the way I have been speaking with the technical team and thr app developers for 6 months now without any solution and I am not about to replace my unit till it's proven faulty.
5. I boat on an inland lake where the biggest navigation issue is finding which cove to turn into for a particular lakefront business.
6. That's probably fine for open-water navigation but complete impractical on a lake that twists and turns and has many coves.The mirroring function for the Go9 is absolute garbage.
7. Known issue and should not be released to the users also so difficult to connect to NS3 in my experience as many others have the same issues.
8. The auto routing will routinely plan a route through shallow water or a diversion from target that if followed would result in at best a significantly longer trip and at worst grounding.
9. This app and communication configuration of the head unit need to be reviewed to work as they should.I have an annual subscription for this app.
10. Colors are distorted as others have mentioned over a year ago and the problem does not appear to be corrected.
11. Finally able to log into app and it won't connect - have to connect manually, then it constantly crashes.
