Why should I report an Issue with Contacts?

When Google contacts started refusing to show addresses I was all ready to pay for an add free version but seemingly not given chance so will have to download something elseI suppose it's prettier than the default app but it doesn't appear to do anything, other than display full-screen adverts and report multiple spurious "missed call" and "Whatsapp" notifications.

2. Also, individual contact info doesn't show call history with that contact.First this app is full of ads and i mean the ads that hide part of screen! I can't make any call without watching an ad and the app is 100 % useless cause it just redirect me to system apps, like when i try to use dialpad it redirect me to the system phone app dialerpad.

And google - do something about the fake reviews and stop wasting our time please.Love this app.. is of a keeping everything in a one place with the Google platform is a great I can access and add new contact while on my laptop tablet and in my phone and it all sync is up which is extremely helpful.Just installed this app.

4. Needless to say, I was completely, utterly lost after realising the implications of my blunder.....and then came Truecaller to my rescue ! Slowly, and surely, I got back all my contact no.s ....Even though it was a long drawn process....thank you....In spite of all the lovely reviews - including at least 8 that are exactly the same lol - it's a junk app.

5. It is really easy to setup and use, has a lot of functionality and the devs are fair with their pricing.Id reset my phone, of course, forgetting to save my contact nos.

7. I've uninstalled it.Very good, stable contacts app, sorting by surname works properly not like a lot of other apps.

1. Fix Contacts Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Contacts: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Contacts App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Contacts" » Open Contacts » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Contacts » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Contacts app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Contacts servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Contacts" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Contacts app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Contacts might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Contacts. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Contacts then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Contacts not working

2. Fix Contacts Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Contacts be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Contacts not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Contacts may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
