Why should I report an Issue with Contacts Groups for Lollipop?

1. Stick to the standard workaround of editing the contact in the std Contacts app and including/excluding the Group Name.The app satisfied the lapse in Lollipop where Contact Groups were no longer included.

2. My phone's default contacts app DID support contact groups on Marshmallow, but after a recent update to Nougat, it doesn't.

3. For now, only 1 star is appropriate.Am I missing something? It appears at first to fill a hole left by the omission of "Contacts groups" from Lollipop.

4. Please update this for MM and I'll gladly change my review.Rather than making things any easier after the omission of contact group management from v5.x Lollipop this app just makes things harder.

5. We have brilliant high-res screens, then fill them with about six huge blobs with hardy any information visible! I think I'll wait till Google sort out their own contacts.My first complaint is App selected one of my inactive accounts.

6. This simple all actually fixed a very important feature for my phoneThe app was a godsend when I was on Lollipop, but since I updated to MM, Google still hasn't reinstated this function and now this app no longer works, it just gives me an error message and won't even let me into the app.

7. If I try to modify a group by adding contacts I select the group and start keying in the contact name.

8. It's crashes every time I attempt to access.Its a good, well designed app but missing the key feature - the ability to send messages to groups.

9. What this app does is it finds the name and if it has multiple number or email field it repeats that name for each field for selection.

10. Problems I find: The Search bar reads "find contacts", but it actually searches the groups.

1. Fix Contacts Groups Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Contacts Groups: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Contacts Groups App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Contacts Groups" » Open Contacts Groups for Lollipop » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Contacts Groups » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Contacts Groups for Lollipop app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Contacts Groups servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Contacts Groups for Lollipop" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Contacts Groups app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Contacts Groups might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Contacts Groups. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Contacts Groups then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Contacts Groups not working

2. Fix Contacts Groups Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Contacts Groups be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Contacts Groups not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Contacts Groups may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
