1. The only note I have is that I would love to be able to upgrade plants to even higher levels than they already have in game.*Update: There are ads but they are not as intrusive as with most other apps.* Super cute way to keep me off my phone and focus on tasks like writing and crafting.

But...I was really hoping to just get rewarded for my focused time by simply watering a plant & watching it grow for a few seconds -- ironically, I focused for 15 minutes on a task & was rewarded with so many points (& subsequent in-game points & little side-thingies to pay attention to), that I spent twice as much time in-app than IRL.

3. If the app is simlpified and more focused later on, I'd love to try it again.I love this so much! This app was probably one of the most helpful focus apps out there since there's no pressure for you to work for a long time, which really helped lengthen my short attention span, and the friend mode really motivated me to be productive.

4. However, there've been many times where I've turned the focus session on for an hour or more, left my phone sitting somewhere, and then came back later only to find that the focus session had failed 5-10 seconds in for some unknown reason.

5. It would be easy enough to just quit the focus session, but somehow, this app makes me want to commit to staying focused.

6. I know there are other focus apps you can use the focus time to grow trees, but this one is so different.

7. Its a cute app but it leans too much into the game aspect and therefore can be too distracting when its meant to help you focus.

8. Not sure if I'll keep using long term.Love this Focus app! First one where there actually seems like there is a lot to do.

9. I love the setting that keeps you working for 25 mins, break for 5 with configurable working and break time periods but theres WAY too much of the "incentive" systems in the way.

10. And the plants are so cute! The app is very easy to learn and navigate.The app is very helpful to stop an on going long term procrastination.

11. I don't mind ads in general--it's free, I get it--but having a loud ad blare every time I open the app is a huge turnoff for me, especially because some are ads for games I wouldn't be comfortable having my children see or hear.

1. Fix Focus Plant Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Focus Plant: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Focus Plant App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Focus Plant" » Open Focus Plant: Pomodoro Forest » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Focus Plant » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Focus Plant: Pomodoro Forest app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Focus Plant servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Focus Plant: Pomodoro Forest" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Focus Plant app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Focus Plant might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Focus Plant. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Focus Plant then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Focus Plant not working

2. Fix Focus Plant Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Focus Plant be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Focus Plant not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Focus Plant may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
