1. I guess it's alright and does what it's supposed to do (control my lights), and it works fine and quickly with voice commands for Google Home, but I don't really want to talk to the GH all the time and would love a snappier, nicer-looking app so I can control the lights without voice commands.Do not put ads on my light switch.
2. I would DOUBLE LOVE a feature that integrates the lights turning on/off or even different colors at different times of the day so that it could act as a light alarm and help with bright lights late at night, all on a timer and without having to open the app.Ok, I'm updating my review as I gain more understanding of the app.
3. If you have a sale, email me, don't put a mandatory 5 second ad that locks me from control of the lights on my house Edit: Sengled reached out to me to apologize for the ad on my light switch.
4. I have had lights disconnect from network with the only option being to delete and rediscover them and it takes literally 30-40 trys before the app finally deletes the light.
5. Other than above, goodIt's okay, but it's really slow to open, which is annoying if you're coming in and trying to turn on the lights--flipping a switch is instant, but standing around and waiting for the Sengled app to open is not, which feels silly.
6. I can't organize bulbs in the order I want within a Room.Simple to use, products work well.
7. Also it would be nice if the individual light bulbs could have a routine just as the plugs do.
8. Scenes created with groups of lights invariably lose control of one of the lights, failing to turn it on or off with the rest and there is no way to fix.
9. I don't want to wait 5+ seconds to turn on my light when it already takes a bit to boot up.
10. If I have a lamp that takes 2 bulbs, I should be able to group them together while also placing that grouped lamp in a Room.
11. So, it would be nice, if while at home, my phone and the hub would use my local network (they're both connected there, anyway). This is an early review so will update if things change.
