1. While the bulb is great quality, the app is not up to par. They still haven't fixed the volume issue on Android phones!! This would be so simple! Issue: when The navigation bar on Android is set to "buttons" (default), the volume control in the Segled app is UNDER the navigation bar, meaning you can't control the volume in the app unless you go into phone settings and change the navigation bar to "Swipe Gestures." Come on Sengled, just move the volume control up 1 centimeter for Pete's sake!! 8/15/21- Thank you for FINALLY fixing this!!The lights themselves are decent.
2. Which is obviously unacceptable, but to all the dunces ((dunci?)) saying it's iMpOsSiBlE to adjust the volume aren't using their thinkers))I thought the app was useless at first because I couldn't get the app to recognize my bulb.
3. After the last Android update, the volume function for the Pulse app no longer works, leaving the speakers permanently stuck at lower volume.
4. I am becoming more and more underwhelmed and disenchanted with this brand.Hey they finally fixed the unusable volume button for me! And replaced it with a bug that locks out the app the moment I try and adjust the newly available volume level, lmao.
5. The app didn't adjust to the fact that the phone controls overlay the bulbs' controls at the bottom of the screen meaning the only thing you can do is change the brightness of the bulbs.
6. You can't adjust the volume or sound of the audio or change the color of the bulbs.
7. Also, a memory function, so that when you turn on your light switch it would default to the last seeing you had it on, instead of having to change it manually every time you turn on the light.
8. The trick to making the app work is that the location permission for the app and location (gps) switch must be on on your phone at all times while connected to the bulb via Bluetooth.
9. (Also, all you have to do to solve the original issue is turn the navigation bar off and use gestures just long enough to get into the app to change it.
10. I will be returning the bulbs. As long as the navigation bar is covering up the sound settings, the speakers and this app are pretty much worthless.
11. Will update the review if they fix this very glaring problem. You have to connect every time you want to use the bulbs... Every-single-time.
