For example, when searching for the Galapagos tortoise, it would be great if you could see the labeled Reptile House nearby.The most useful feature of the app is directions from one attraction to the next, but the app uses a lot of cell-phone power, and (perhaps for that reason or because of poor cell reception with my provider, T-Mobile?) it misled me hilariously at one point.

2. (Why isn't there more information on the signs on the animal habitats?) And I would have appreciated citizen-science assignments.App is a great that it is able to store my annual pass and make it easy to enter the zoo, but really could be more useful.

3. Good idea, but could be much better, and would greatly improve my zoo experienceIt's great to be able to use digital passes to enter the parks! Many features, like the map and restaurant menus and animal info, are also awesome.

4. That needs to change or have it swipe to exit tab.This app was hard to navigate when your location was not constantly up to date on the map;it was hard to move around the map when the map does not completely allow you to interact with it like Google Maps.

5. It needs to have the color separation for the different areas and it would be great if the markers for the animal exhibits were little caricatures instead of all the same paw because you'll just keep clicking through random.

6. Bottom line I would plan your route using the physical map and use the app as supplement.Pretty much the only usable feature is the map since its nice to have your location.

7. On the upside, the app does accurately tell you what wildlife or other facilities are in the area.Maps are useless.

9. It will create an itinerary, which sounds good, in that it will suggest an order to go in if you click the animals you want to see.

10. And having the back button exit the app instead of clear the animal tab that pops up on the bottom is annoying.

11. It would be great if it could use the GPS in my phone to show me where in the zoo I am on the map and give me directions to specific attractions that want to see.

1. Fix San Diego Zoo Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart San Diego Zoo: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the San Diego Zoo App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "San Diego Zoo" » Open San Diego Zoo » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for San Diego Zoo » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear San Diego Zoo app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from San Diego Zoo servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "San Diego Zoo" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check San Diego Zoo app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, San Diego Zoo might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall San Diego Zoo. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall San Diego Zoo then reinstall.

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make San Diego Zoo be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to San Diego Zoo not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, San Diego Zoo may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
