1. It seems to be very good, but sometimes I seem to be reading old news and not the latest and upto date news.Takes an age for pages to load, you have to continually come out and go back in, latest update has been rubbish.

2. After years of this, and all I know suffering the same service? Absolute garbage.Bit hit and miss whether the app opens or not !! And when it does open quite often the stories jump around and change order from new to old to new to old....Very annoying since 'new stories' introduced requiring constant scrolling to get back to where you were.

3. Be careful if clicking on adverts as links to some websites can result in scams where purchase of an item results in something which does not work very well but you end up with a monthly subscription as well which is not even mentioned (Google ads probably at fault not the newspaper).

4. Not even shutting down your phone and restarting stops an article you didn't request to read popping up time and time again.

5. The app was much better and more stable a few months ago, something has gone wrong.App with local news.

6. Have updated app on request every time, I even changed my phone yet In over 2 years this app hasn't worked properly once.

7. I selected travel as a section and it is showing random news I think.

8. The STV app works better but has its own lesser issues.Since my paperboy stopped delivering my paper copies, I have started to use the online version.

1. Fix Daily Record Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Daily Record: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Daily Record App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Daily Record" » Open Daily Record » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Daily Record » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Daily Record app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Daily Record servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Daily Record" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Daily Record app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Daily Record might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Daily Record. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Daily Record then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Daily Record not working

2. Fix Daily Record Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Daily Record be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Daily Record not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Daily Record may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
