They lockdown their devices so they can only be used with Samsung software and then stop supporting the software.So you take away the Mobile login app which was clunky but worked fine and was good for holidays (for saving pics onto a bigger screen) and replace it with something which doesn't support my camera (which I can still buy lenses for so is still 'current'.
