1. And it seems like every time I start a new project, just when I think it can't get any better, there's something new that's just been added! This app has truly helped me challenge myself in my knitting - it makes it possible to take on more complicated patterns and to keep track of where I am and what I'm doing: Multiple counters - I did a pair of socks with FOUR different cable patterns worked simultaneously! Who does that? I do now, that's who! Multiple device syncing - I can work with my tablet, or, if that's not handy, I can use my phone to keep track.

2. Love this app! Being able to add multiple counters that are linked (or not) for tracking total rows, pattern repeats, etc is brilliant! Makes even complicated patterns easy to track.

3. It has everything you need to work with a project: row counter, pattern import, ruler so you don't get lost in your pattern, a timer to keep track of the time spent on a project... And it doesn't stop here.

4. Downloading patterns to the app - as long as I have my phone with me (which, let's face it, I always do!), I have my pattern - no need to keep track of a separate paper or book.

5. Definitely 100% recommended ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️This app is everything I expected and more! I love that I can import patterns and that the screen stays on displaying the pattern.

6. Being able to import patterns from so many sources is great, my only complaint is that you cannot access folders when importing patterns from Google Drive.

7. At this point, I'm switching apps since it's essentially a row counter with some statistics.This app is seriously what I've been looking for to help me track patterns.

8. But now it doesn't seem to be working anymore, except for the ads! I tried a couple times to upload a project from Ravelry and it just takes some kind of screenshot of the first page of the pattern? And now I can't delete the duds.

9. The dark mode is awesome! I would love to be able to type notes on my pattern versus making an annotation.

10. There's a highlighted line option which I've legitimately been trying to find other places, you can also have a global counter and separate counters.

11. There is a fee to use premium, but you can do a yearly fee of ten dollars, AND IT syncs from Android to apple devices, which means I can use my phone or iPad for the same pattern, and only have to have one payment.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix My Row Counter Issues

1. Fix My Row Counter Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart My Row Counter: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the My Row Counter App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "My Row Counter" » Open My Row Counter: Knit & Crochet » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for My Row Counter » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear My Row Counter: Knit & Crochet app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from My Row Counter servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "My Row Counter: Knit & Crochet" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check My Row Counter app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, My Row Counter might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall My Row Counter. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall My Row Counter then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing My Row Counter not working


2. Fix My Row Counter Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make My Row Counter be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to My Row Counter not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, My Row Counter may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
