1. Using the Mood Meter is quick and easy, helping you expand your emotional vocabulary and discover emotional nuances. * Check-in regularly with your feelings at work, at home, anytime. * Discover what causes you to feel the way you do and see patterns in your feelings over time. * Share your emotion check-ins with a small circle of family, friends or colleagues. * Learn effective strategies to help you regulate your feelings and enhance the way you manage your life each day.
2. The Mood Meter helps you identify your emotions throughout the day and supports you when you’d like to shift to a different emotion.
3. Over time, you’ll develop emotional intelligence skills that can help you in all areas of life.
1. I wish I could run reports to see calendars/timelines/bar graphs/ticker charts that show mood trends on a day, week, month, and year scale and be able to see patterns like time of day, activity, and season and that would also reflect trends over time of improvement or regression in overall mood.
2. My only negative comment is the advice given when you want to shift your mood is not very helpful. In general, I like this app! It definitely helps me better determine what I'm feeling and slow down a bit in the moment.
3. When offered to stay in the same emotion or shift, I wish shift didn't give a pithy useless suggestion, and instead let us pick a block to the left (raise pleasantness) or up/down (shift energy).Really like the app for all of the reasons in the app description.
4. I also wish I could set reminder times with push notifications that would remind me to record my mood at certain times.Really excellent way to track your emotions.
5. You used to be able to set a time when an alert would remind you to log your mood, which was helpful.
6. This version seems much more adult focused, which is great, but I would love it if there was either another mode or a second app that was more child centered and could be used by parents and teachers. This was a really neat app initially, I'm assuming it was bought out by someone who doesn't care.
7. I suppose you could just go back and do multiple times... Expand strategies for shifting mood; this is the weakest part of the app.
8. The prompts for shifting your mood also used to feel more useful - now it's the same ones recycled again and again.
9. One thing that would be helpful is a feature that allows you to see your mood from day to day.
10. I like the current view, and would like a view which trends the week with each day's collective data weighed similarly.
11. Their schools uses mood meter in their classroom so it was a great fit.
