1. I tested it on a two-day shoot recently and found out there's a couple of bugs: ///// 1) when it was time for a note to start (let's say SETUP or COMPANY MOVE), the text of the note disappeared, the whole line turned grey and I couldn't check it when it was done, so I had to delete it and rearrange times in order to continue tracking the shoot.
2. I just have some minor issues with the display options on Android, but nothing that stopped me from using it efficiently. We used Shotlister for a short vfx film and it was great to be able to adjust our day during the shoot.
3. I have my way of doing things, and the next guy has his way, and each script or project calls for varying complexity in numbering, but we have to use Shotlister's canonical numbering.Great idea overall, very useful app.
4. Using it this last week on a shoot, I (as the sound mixer) was able to see how much time we had for some shots and also what shots were coming up throughout the day.
5. Please fix the bugs :) Update Jul 18, 2021: The bugs haven't been fixed, plus I tried to sync a project from my tablet to my smartphone today and found no way to do so.
6. Shotlister has also been helpful in the past, on both op systems, keeping me on track as a director. The bugs and limitations make this a pain to use.
7. I tried emailing an SHL file first, but when I tapped "Share", Shotlister wasn't in the available apps to send the file to.
8. Google Play advised to ask the app developer to give me a refund since it has been 48hrsIt doesn't work at all on Android.
9. ///// Apart from those difficulties though, it's still a very good app that helped me keep track of a difficult shoot.
10. I wanted to like this app and the idea of it is very useful, but the execution unfortunately is mediocre.Shot Lister has a user friendly interface.
11. i would recommend putting together a fake shoot day and trying it out! Super helpful.
