1. Most importantly, it's well-optimized for almost every single manufacturer. ✓ Works with fingerprint sensor and Smart Lock (bluetooth, trusted devices, trusted face, trusted location, on-body detection... ✓ There are various icon colors to choose from (red 🔴, orange 🟠, yellow 🟡, green 🟢, blue 🔵, indigo 🟣, purple 🟣 , white ⚪, black ⚫, pink 🔴... ✓ Support dark theme for Android 9 onwards.
2. Turn Off Screen (Screen Lock) is a small, simple, fast and beautiful application that help you turn your phone screen off and lock without using power button.
3. Android 9 onwards: this app requires Accessibility permission to turn screen off and lock screen as pressing power button.
4. App's theme will follow system theme automatically. ✓ Support Widget at home screen and lock screen. ✓ If your power button is broken this is a must have app.
5. If not it's still very useful because you don't need to press power button anymore.
6. Note: If the app is killed (remove from memory/force stop) that permission will be revoked and you will need to grant it again.
7. Hence please don't kill this application to avoid being asked permission repeatedly .
8. Please open the app, find FAQ section then tap on Feedback and bug report to send an email to the developer. Thank you.
1. This app allows me to minimize the use of my power button, hopefully extending the life of my device.Best locking app that works with finger scanner but found an issue! This app had no flaws, until I decided to use the "Youtube Red" app with the video minimized playing in the background and decided to lock my screen.
2. One is for invoking the app's function, the other is for setup, which is how you change app behavior after initial setup. This app helps me to turn off the screen of my cellphone in an easier way, without having to push the physical button on the cellphone.
3. That's due to the location of the physical button on the Samsung 9+I was looking for something simple to lock my screen with one touch and this does exactly that.
4. When tablet restarts, turn off screen app won't work, keeps asking to turn off permission and ack on, does not say well done.
5. Also, the accessibility button doesn't work on Android 12, but I guess the newer the version the more functionality we lose.
6. Tried other options, but they didn't fit my needs! Actually friend just now introduced me to double tapping screen to lock it.
7. The buttons still exist in Android 12 if the user chooses to do that, so it would be nice if the software accommodated for that. This app seems to work very well on my pixel 3A running Android Pie.
8. I really like the feature of having a quick setting button, but it's unfortunate that it keeps not working.
9. Sometimes after I go update other apps (not this one) in the Play store (at least I think this is the trigger), the accessibility service seems to break and needs to be toggled off and on.
10. Would def give it 5 stars, but I think every time there's an update the quick setting button for this app stops working.
11. If I wish to turn off tablet, the only solution is to uninstall and reinstall this app. Thanks for this simple app.
