Why should I report an Issue with Velociraptor - Speed Limits & ?

1. Will be uninstalling.It's good but the problem with Google maps is that if you're navigating and turn off the screen, the speed limit overlay hides and the warning sound also stops coming.

2. I wish I could delete it from the Google Play Store.Working well for me! clear display of current speed & limit for the road I'm on - the latter is usually correct, I've only rarely seen it have wrong info and I've not tried the paid info sources.

3. I realised this is an issue with the place they are getting their data But my main reason for getting the app is the fact that on this highway there are several small towns with multiple speed limit changes their main source of income is giving people tickets.

I'd like an option to repeat the warning if your speed remains over the threshold - it only makes the noise when you first "cross over" the threshold, an option to beep every 10s or so (in case you didn't hear the first) would be nice.The app shows what seems to be the correct speed you're travelling at on the speedometer, which is ok.

5. This needs to be fixed!I wanted speed limits displayed in Google Maps, and that's exactly what this app does.

6. A minimum time above threshold (3 secs? 5 secs?) could help false alerts.It does what it promises very well showing the actual speed as an overlay.

7. I'll gladly update to 5 stars if the app sees an update that improves it NOT MAKE IT WORSE which happens with a lot of app updates.I love the idea of this app and it has been helpful most of the time for alerting me when going over the speed limit.

8. It hasnt been updated in over a year so its hard to know the issue I have with the speed limit sometimes not showing is because of the default provider or if its the app itself.

9. When we press the power button, Google maps show on top of lock screen, but the overlay is still hidden (because device is still locked).

10. Also, the speed limits displayed are sometimes not correct when using the free database, but you can subscribe to a couple of paid services which are very cheap.

11. Only reason I refrain from 5* is because I don't test the whole functionality.It does not fire up when I open google maps.

1. Fix Velociraptor Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Velociraptor: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Velociraptor App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Velociraptor" » Open Velociraptor - Speed Limits & » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Velociraptor » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Velociraptor - Speed Limits & app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Velociraptor servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Velociraptor - Speed Limits & " » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Velociraptor app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Velociraptor might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Velociraptor. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Velociraptor then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Velociraptor not working

2. Fix Velociraptor Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Velociraptor be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Velociraptor not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Velociraptor may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
