1. Uninstalled.FIXED!!! The app would open to a black screen, just like others have said in the reviews so i decided i would delete it and reinstall the updated version currently available on Google Store... and it loaded and worked perfectly... so for me problem solved... maybe it'll work for you too.. Hope so, it's a great app! I gave it 4 stars cos i haven't road tested it yet.

2. Hopefully SpeedView adapts and fixes this for the latest Android OS for Note 8.it had been working very well for me for years, but for a few months now, the numbers aren't displaying correctly.

3. Unfortunately, a recent update causes it to launch itself in the background (unacceptable) and display un-clearable notifications (very unacceptable), and no response from emailing the developer.

4. Very disappointed as I had been using it for years.my favorite GPS speedometer until my last phone update.

5. I can't find the option to upload images, would have been easy .Works well as a speedometer, and the heads-up mode is great.

6. Used to be a quick, simple, and reliable way to measure speed.Was a fantastic app and very accurate but it doesn't render on the screen correct on my S9 so I had to uninstall it and use something else.

7. You have to manually force stop the appNo longer working, app loads to black screen.

8. there should also be identifiers as to what number means what.graphics not working properly, the speedometer is not clearly visible, only 1st half is visible.

9. also, the app shows a speed error of 10kmph which is weird as i measured with other apps and error was only 4kmph.

10. Previous update changed advertising and caused display and freezing issues.

11. ( Google pixel 2 XL, but i can see that its not limited to my phone)The app quit working a few days ago.

1. Fix SpeedView Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart SpeedView: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the SpeedView App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SpeedView" » Open SpeedView: Legacy Edition » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SpeedView » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear SpeedView: Legacy Edition app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SpeedView servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SpeedView: Legacy Edition" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check SpeedView app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SpeedView might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall SpeedView. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SpeedView then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SpeedView not working

2. Fix SpeedView Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SpeedView be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SpeedView not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SpeedView may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
