1. Made by the Netherlands’ top app developers at Pixplicity, this app generates single-use password codes that you use in combination with a regular username and password.
2. Much like other well known authenticator apps that shan't be named (and fully compatible!
3. Using this app you can finally back-up your accounts to your favourite cloud, transfer them to a new phone without hiccups, or even share them with your partner. • ... will never again have to reset TFA on all your accounts when you buy a new phone. • ... won’t have to trust our cloud with your accounts (since we don’t have a cloud and we don’t store your accounts). • ... won’t have to trust other cloud providers with your accounts (since we encrypt your back-up using strong AES 256-bit encryption). • Security: this app doesn't even request internet permission, and is utterly unable to secretly send your stuff to some shady servers.
1. When trying to use it with Digital U, I only get "invalid authenticator code."I like the interface but haven't gotten a code to work just yet still fooling with the settings after a couple of lackluster attempts without the proper preparatory reading of the instructions for proper use of the application... Still learning how to use it so I will repost after a more in depth focused attempt....Very promising app, I'm gonna give it a try.
2. Some customisation settings would be welcome.Terrible. I used this for 2-step verification for my Social Club account and when I entered my code the thing showing how long you have to enter it kept going even though I used the code.
3. Now when I'm going to try to sign in again I won't have the code and have to make a new accountEasy to use and very handy! It's the first authenticator app I've used and it's very basic and easy to learn.
4. It appears to work, but never does provide a positive connection even though the account is "added" to the device.
5. I thought "how hard can it be?" OMG! You have to scan a QRcode from the Only device available.... the one in your hand!? It says it sent a code to my phone..... No It Did Not.
6. Easy to make password protected encrypted backups of all secret account tokens.
7. Large displayed numerical font makes it easy to read displayed TOTP codes.
8. There was a number that was slowly disapearing.... I copied that one and pasted it to the account I was trying to get into.
9. Sorting of items is currently based on order in which they were added to Pixplicity Authenticator.
10. I would prefer alphabetical sorting by name of account label or by account username.
11. This would markedly improve its security.Based on free otp red head source, but that default app is lot better, UI even though it tends to be flashy its kinda watered down.
I formatted my smartphone but I noticed that I didn't have the backup turned on, I would like to know if I can recover all my data saved there, because I risk losing all my saved accounts.
