1. Best Before has custom categories, locations and units, the ability to "open" (partially consume) products, and a super quick template-based entry mechanism that makes it quick and easy to add products after shopping and remove as I use or consume them. This seems like an app with a lot of potential.
2. The only improvement I could wish for is a minimum stock level that alutomatically adds the items to the shopping list as they are consumed.Great app for keeping up with what's in your pantry, fridge, freezer, and more.
3. I love the ability to sort by expiration, amount left, the automatic shopping list feature, and syncing with multiple devices.I've tried 19 of these apps and this is by far the best.
4. Edit: after using it a while I've realised that once you've saved your expiry date, you can't select when you open it.Great app and has taken over a previous one that I used which was quite basic.
5. I wish it were a little less cluttered on the screen and it has a weird thing where the expiry date is displayed as one day less than you enter.Tried a few similar app's but all of them didn't have the range of options that I required.
6. It would also be very useful to record multiples of items.Incredibly useful! I've now managed to avoid my food going off regularly.
7. I am going to buy this app right now because I REALLY want to support developers who make great products and don't cripple their software.
8. This one has more functions such as having a shopping list, showing items as opened and pre-filling information from previously entered items.
9. Yeah, it does not have a recipe feature -- but who cares, I need this to track food and sundries.
10. It lets you know when food is about to expire and when food that has been open is going bad.
11. It really needs a scan feature to make adding items much faster.I've just started to use this app and it's going well so far.
