1. If I ever get the update to work, I wonder whether it includes the ability to actually tell the time, as none of my PTs have kept anything like accurate time (quickly goes hours out), which is ridiculous.App is garbage I use switches because I can't use a watch and the app can't find my smart drive so I can adjust my max speed so my chair won't go faster than 30% of max speed & I can't get to class on time because of it.

2. Please update this as it is not a fair representation of our use when using the switches.Hate the fact you now use a ticWatch, which is basically a smartwatch, need Bluetooth on my phone and the watch (which drains the batteries super fast)to use my smartdrive not to mention 2 apps.

3. Why is there no integration b/t the watch and the GPS function on my phone to track distance?App doesn't measure distance traveled when using the smart switches only when you use the tic watch.

4. Permobil charges $50,000 for a powerchair, $6,000 for a manual chair, $6,000 for a SmartDrive, but they cannot find a developer to allow App on Apple Watch, Samsung Watch, nor any watch besides the cheap, buggy Mobvoi Tic Watch E2.

5. Rip-Off! The companion Smart Watch app is called SmartDrive MX2+ and it only works on tacky Mobvoi Tic Watch E2, like something from a vending machine.

6. I FINALLY figured out that to track distance the SD has to be both on AND connected to the (also absolute garbage) smart watch, which drains the watch battery really quickly.

7. The SmartDrive itself is a solid piece of machinery, control with a Smart Watch is apparently nigh impossible in year 2021.

8. However today if I turn on the drive with the watch and hold the smart drive in my lap to experiment, it shows all the distance traveled.

9. Lastly, both the e2 watch and the switch control buttons regularly fail to disengage the SD to stop.Absolute garbage! The PushTracker software has ALWAYS been garbage & has NEVER worked the way it should.

10. Improves performance in some areas (high WiFi or Bluetooth density), but over it's a terrible implementation with poor battery life, significant and repeated connectivity issues, and terrible hardware that requires not just this program, but a cluster of software to function, even as poorly as this one does.

11. I'm so frustrated and angry that this app doesn't do what it's supposed to.I just wanted to reassure other smart drive users that with the new pushtracker e2, it is not neccessary to use this app to control it...this is simply the wheelchair equivalent of a step counter, and not something I am interested in.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix PushTracker Issues

1. Fix PushTracker Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart PushTracker: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the PushTracker App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "PushTracker" » Open PushTracker » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for PushTracker » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear PushTracker app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from PushTracker servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "PushTracker" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check PushTracker app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, PushTracker might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall PushTracker. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall PushTracker then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing PushTracker not working


2. Fix PushTracker Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make PushTracker be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to PushTracker not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, PushTracker may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
