1. Ie looking for "goods production" i get every single result for "goods" and "production" This wouldn't be a problem if I could just use control-f but it won't even let me do that, it makes no sense this is a text field!! Copied entire glossary to docs just to have a decent searchI am disappointed that the book I need for my course is missing many pages.
2. Makes the listening feature nearly useless if you have to keep your phone on and in the app to function.First I want to say how nice it is to have the ebook available on any mobile device, this makes studying easier when you're on the go and time is scarce.
3. This app over complicates things and makes it so cumbersome to use the text.Nice to have flash cards for study on the go, but the audio play feature on the app just isn't there.
4. Attempting to look at key terms continuously crashes the app instead of bringing you to the term definition -- and the app doesn't remember the page you were looking at that contained the key term, so you have to manually navigate back to the page and try again, only to inevitably repeat this cycle over and over again without success. This app is a money grab that targets college students.
5. Can't even get the audio to work on their mobile website (normal on desktop is fine, which is how I know the audio is possible)User interface is fine, and it's nice to have a downloaded copy on your phone.
6. It doesn't remember your spot in the chapter, so you have to scroll all the way down to where you left off every time you close the app and the slightest touch on a tablet or phone takes you to either the previous or next chapter unintentionally.
7. Also, the price point comparison of this versus a physical textbook is a no-brainer.Great for students but constant problems with audio book.
8. I do not like however, that the app makes adjusting the size of the page difficult, and that you cannot lock the screen.
9. The built-in audiobook feature has saved my time (and grade) a few times so far, and I enjoy the interactivity of the additional videos and flash cards.
10. You have to re-open the book you're reading every time you leave the app, and just hope it remembers what page you were on, because it often will not.
11. At first I thought it was the device I was using, but I have used three different devices, both iOS and Android, and I am having the same issues.
