IP Webcam Pro Customer Insights

1. For all the people complaining about app crashes and what not, you need to ensure that the app is allowed to run in background all the time working through the different power settings of your phone (add exception for background running).

2. When clicking the back button on my Android device while the server is active, instead of the familiar settings being shown, an error message comes up "Unfortunately, IP Webcam has Stopped".

3. I'll be glad to provide and information I can toward a solution! Addendum: This issue doesn't appear to happen in the Lite version, with the same video settings.

4. I can reduce the band intensity by setting Antibanding to auto instead of default but I can't get rid of it entirely and I can't get my nice bright image any more despite playing with all the different video settings.

1. Fix IP Webcam Pro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart IP Webcam Pro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the IP Webcam Pro App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "IP Webcam Pro" » Open IP Webcam Pro » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for IP Webcam Pro » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear IP Webcam Pro app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from IP Webcam Pro servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "IP Webcam Pro" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check IP Webcam Pro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, IP Webcam Pro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall IP Webcam Pro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall IP Webcam Pro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing IP Webcam Pro not working


2. Fix IP Webcam Pro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make IP Webcam Pro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to IP Webcam Pro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, IP Webcam Pro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
